Grades K-1. Even the littlest hands will enjoy this engineering class, specially designed for them. We’ll build seesaws, spinning tops and more while learning the mechanical principles that make things go! By the time they’re done, they just might know more about simple machines than you do! Full details.
You did a marvelous job! Thanks for a wonderful experience. U. enjoyed the sessions so much that he will be signing up for [your] camp over the summer. -Al-Huda parent, College Park, Md.
Grades K-1. There are plenty of ways to get from one place to another. In this class we’ll start off with stories that pose transportation challenges … and then engineer and build our own solutions: cars, helicopters, boats and … whatever else we can imagine! Full details.
J. took a new interest in his Legos and K’nex at home as a result of this class. I was so impressed that our instructor sent weekly updates – including pictures! – telling us about what they’d worked on each week. –Flora Singer E.S. parent, Silver Spring, Md.
Grades 1-2. Got a young Lego fanatic in the house who isn’t old enough for our robotics classes? Try this awesome engineering class. We’ll learn the principles behind simple machines while building amusement park rides, catapults and more! Full details.
Thank you so much for your weekly emails and great lessons you’ve provided our children! A. has loved it each week and felt very challenged. It’s great for him to see that simple machines and LEGOs can create cool things! -Woodlin E.S. parent, Silver Spring, Md.

[My daughter] has really been loving all of the fun experiments! Her favorites have been the egg drop project, the catapult, and the bridge! She is learning a lot and is very excited about the class each week! -Westover E.S. parent, Colesville, Md.
Grades 3-5. Our projects and activities are designed around challenges that real NASA engineers face, like how to launch a rocket, land a Rover without breaking it, navigate a terrain you can’t see in real-time … oh and yes, we’ll play with hovercrafts! Full details.
My son C. is super excited about the program. I used to be a NASA engineer. So I am really excited that you are using space tech to encourage young people to learn about engineering, science and most important creativity. Thanks. -Flora Singer E.S. parent, Silver Spring, Md.
Grades 4-5 or 6-8. (NEW!)
Students will sharpen their spatial awareness as we learn how to use 3-D software to bring their ideas to life! We’ll play with extrusion, rotation, mirroring and more! We’ll also bring our own 3-D printer to class to play with and print some simpler objects. Full details.
