Book My Party

Ninety minutes. $250 for up to 10 guests including birthday child; or $395 for up to 20 guests including birthday child. Fifteen percent discount on party fee for current or recent students of The GrAd Lab classes, or their siblings.

Expecting a fair amount of guests who’ve already taken our Lego Robotics class? Here’s something new for them. In ninety minutes, our instructor will help your party-goers design and program a robotic Lego machine that can accomplish a certain task. The current favorite project: building a trap that can catch our Hexbug Nanos! (Sorry, party-goers don’t get to keep any of our Legos, Hexbugs or other equipment, so please plan your own goody bags if your party-goers are expecting take-homes).

You MUST supply a dedicated adult helper. This person should be attentive and reasonably computer savvy. If you prefer, or we can supply one for an additional $75. But we’d rather save you money!

Here’s one of our recent reviews. (You can read more of our unedited birthday party reviews here).

My 9-year old loved his Robo Challenge – “hexbug trap” party with Diego. The group of 7- to 9 year-old boys and girls worked on the hardwood floor and they were absorbed and creative in building their contraptions. Diego was great, encouraged everybody and managed to bring together children who had never done lego robotics before and some who had done every class. The adults joined in as well. We all had fun!

[Our party leader] came on time, set up quickly and kept nine 9-year-olds engaged for over an hour. [The Great Adventure Lab] easily accommodated our group as several of the kids had done Lego robots before. Greg was very patient with the kids! It was easy and fun and I would do it again. Thanks.
